Question about Dell Inspiron Computers & Internet
My dell laptop has stopped opening windows. It goes to "Bootmgr is missing press CTRL+alt to delete" and that does not work. Does my dell laptop need to be repaired? Please help, thank you.

SOURCE: bootmgr is missing
You will need to boot off of windows Vista DVD. Click next at first prompt. When you move to the next screen you will see Repair my computer. click "repair your computer" It will take you to the drive or partion with windows currently installed on it. Click next then click on startup repair.

Have you tried a System Restore/Recovery? Can you boot to safe mode? Try the restore/Recovery procedure: Shut down, unplug, remove battery, plug in, push the on button and When Acer splash is on screen hold Alt and keep pressing F10...
