SOURCE: same remote control frequency for avengers trike

None that I have ever heard of---usually those are burned in the microprocessor circuit the unit uses with the remote.

Only chance would be to contact the maker of each to see if alternate code can be set but I doubt it.

SOURCE: Change frequency rc223 ceiling fan remote

sir the frecuency only can be alter if the fan has transformer inside TAP by 50 or 60hz. Otherwise, you must consult to the factory, if they have some transformer for installing with the TAP for o.k 60hz or 50hz whatever you will use.
God bless lyou

How do i change the frequency of my remote

What remote and why are you wanting to change the frequency? If you change the remote frequency then whatever you are trying to control has to be changed to match.

Remote frequency for my cable receiver seems to be the same as the remote frequency for my TV

Hi Thor!
You have to select "Cable" on the universal remote on the cable to change the channels on the cable box.
And press "TV" on that remote to change or access TV Functions.
Or use only the TV remote only to change Inputs on the TV.
Good Luck,
JP

My remote appears to be the same as a neighbours and their remote is controlling my TV volume, how do I change this?

Not much could be done as both tv works on same frequency as most brands each has its own frequency and covering windows with heavey courtains might help or buying different brand of tv

We purchased two Barbie corvettes for twins and it seems that one remote controls both cars. Is there a different setting where they can control their own car?

Hi Janet, unfortunately this I'd due to the transmitter frequency being the same! This should have been pointed out to you when purchasing both items together! The packaging should indicate this too! I race remote control cars and on the higher end transmitters the frequency can be changed so all racers are on different frequencies but this would not be the case for you!

My ceiling fan/light goes on when I am not in the room. The remote is on the bureau. I sometimes put the remote in another room but the fan/light still goes on. Model 327185-060

The simple solution is to turn the wall switch OFF when, the fan is not in use. I really don't think the remote alone is the culprit. Because, you say it happens even when it's in the bureau or in another room. Remote controls for ceiling fans have a very short range and are generally infrared remotes, rather than radio frequency remotes. So, if the infrared signal does not reach the receiver's sensor in the fan, it won't function. If it's a radio frequency remote control, do you have any other remote controlled fans in the house? If so, does the suspect fan seem to turn ON after you have activated the other fan? If that happens, it means both remote controls are on the same frequency. Changing the frequency of one, should solve the problem. See your Owner's Manual for directions on how to reprogram the frequency codes.

If none of the above solves the problem, maybe you should contact the "Ghost Hunters" TV show.

Hope this helped you troubleshoot and solve the problem. Thanks for choosing FixYa.

WHAT IS THE SWITCH ON THE SIDE OF GENIE SINGLE BUTTON REMOTE CONTROL

It changes the frequency (because it's a dual frequency remote). I don't know which setting is which frequency though.

Ceiling fans on same frequency

There should be dip switches in/on both the remote control and the ceiling fan that enable you to change the control frequency. The only thing that you have to ensure is that the two components are set to a matching frequency.

The switches in the remote are located in the battery compartment just above the batteries. Remove the dome on the ceiling fan and you should find the switches for that unit. Just compare the two and match whatever changes you make from one unit to the other.
