How to replace the trigger on a hitachi nv45ab2

Pound roll pin out of black trigger and remove. Turn silver slotted part with screw driver and the two valves will pop out. Usually it's the flat trigger bushing that is bad and makes it leak. I have all parts.

My Hitachi NV45AB is leaking air from the trigger air valve. The gun still works if I just keep the trigger depressed and just smack the tip into the shingle.

Remove the 3mm roll pin holding the trigger in place and set aside the trigger plunger (white plastic plunger should have an oring on groove). Remove the fitting that holds the trigger plunger and replace vinyl ball #875645 or check for debris under ball. Good luck with your repair.

I have a craftsman roof nailer with plastic cover for nails broken where can i get one to fit

Best place for replacement parts is the address below.
Ez to order from and usually only takes 10 to 14 days to get the parts. Click on Hitachi logo then select coil nailers, then your model number. For local parts, look in the yellow page directory for fasteners. Fastener companies that sell nails and other supplies to contractors also have parts for Hitachi nailers. Check with several. Some will even repair the nailer for you if you buy nails from them.
Good luck.

On a Hitachi NV45AB2 How do you get the trigger spring out? Part #48

UNPLUG the tool. on the trigger itself you will find a roll pin, remove it then with the trigger off you will see what appears to be a slot for a straight screwdriver, you can lay a screwdriver blade the width of the slot and turn to loosen and remove, next on the front there is a spacer with o rings on it carefully remove it and the spring can be removed. If you go to "ereplacementparts.com you can download a schematic for this. On the left side click on the Hitachi parts and go to nailers and scroll down till you find your model is is on the left side of the mini page click on it and you can see the schematic. Let me know if you need more help

Hi, when I nail also it leak. when I make a shot, the gun nailer blow for the middle. but when I don't nail it does'nt feel any leak.

Your description makes it clear that it needs a head rebuild kit. You can order this from Hitachi, or send it in to local Hitachi center. Good machine, straightforward repair. If you are a little handy, you can do this repair yourself. remember to oil the gun frequently to make your repair last longest. Farmerbear at FixYa

Year of Manfacture for Hitachi NV45AB2 Coil Nailer Serial Number 341889.. Thanks, Marty

on hitachi air nailers the first number is the month and the second is the year , the only confusion might be if the nailer is older than ten yrs( the nv45ab2 has only been out about 4 yrs) so your roofer was made in march of 04
