If the paper jam is not reachable try pulling out if possible with some flipper clips.but if its very much internal then dont try as u may damage rollers where the paper is stuck. In that case you will have to open the printer and get access to rollers and get the paper removed.

thanks and please do not forget to accept the solution.thanks for using fixya.
keep updated...

It's producing two vetical white strips across the page when printing.

Toner drops from the cartridge onto a dark glass (laser?) below and prevents that part of the image from being transferred. Wipe clean and the problem disappears.

Xerox Paser 7400 is not recognizing black toner cartirdges after they are installed

Have you shaken it well and be sure you have all the tape removed from the cartridge? Most of the time with that problem the piece of tape that is over the opening of the cartridge does not come off completely.

Printing problems

Could be a couple of things, but it sounds like the tires on the paper roller have worn out.

Like tires on a car, the slightly abbrasive surface of the rubber tires on the paper roller will go smooth over time...causing the rollers to slip on the paper instead of pulling it throuh the printer.

It's a relatively cheap/easy to install part.
You can contact Xerox for the part: or other websites such as:

There may also be a local Xerox service centre where you live (most major cities have at least one) & the tires will be a very common part for them.

...If it's not the tires, it could also be the mechanism that lower the roller onto the paper. If this is damaged (or not calibrated correctly) the printer will have problems feeding the paper through as well.

The only easy suggestion here (if you're not comfortable replacing parts yourself) would be to take it to a registered Xerox service centre for maintenance.

Hope this helps!!

Mac upgrade means Xerox printer won't print!

There are apparently incompatibilities between some Xerox drivers and the security-improved Snow Leopard. It seems that many pieces of software (and drivers) relied on not-so-clean techniques to cut corners while operating. These techniques are no longer allowed by Snow Leopard (the same problem afflicts XP SP3, Vista and Seven).

This article lists several problems, explanation and (perhaps) fixes:

Meanwhile, Apple is working to some workarounds too (there is an update linked in the article which may be of interest to you).

Replace Paper Tray Message won't clear

On the right side of the tray, there are 3 rectangular holes. The "plug" goes in the top hole but, if it came out, it probably won't stay in. I've taped a piece of sheet metal in the hold before to get by. You can buy the part for a few bucks from xerox or inktechnologies. There is a lot of pressure on this plug so it takes something pretty strong to hold.

I want to add an store email addresses on my xerox phaser 6115mfp

You need to use control center , which can be found at .
But here are the steps.
The MFP ControlCentre (MCC) provides an easy-to-use Graphical User Interface (GUI) that simplifies configuring the Phaser 6115MFP and managing fax directory lists from a computer over USB. The MCC stores configuration and setting information in a .dat file that is uploaded from the computer to the Phaser 6115MFP.

NOTE: It is also possible to save the .dat file to a directory on the computer.
To program dialing and enter recipient e-mail addresses using MCC:
  1. Click on the [Start] button, then point to [Programs], select [Xerox Office Printing], then [Phaser 6115MFP], and then click on [Xerox Phaser 6115MFP MCC]. The MCC window will be displayed.
  2. Click on the [Connect to Machine] button. 'Connection Status: Online' will be displayed in the MCC window.
  3. Click on the [Download] button. The current .dat file will be downloaded to the MCC.
  4. Click on the [Menu] button.
  5. Click on the [+] on the left side of the window to configure Speed Dial, One-Touch Dialing, Group Dial, and e-mail addresses.
  6. Enter the required settings, and then click on the [OK] button.
  7. When finished, click on the [Upload] button, and then click on [Yes] to save these settings to the Phaser 6115MFP.
  8. Click on the [Save] button to save the new .dat file to the computer.
  9. When finished, click on the [Disconnect] button.
