Chevy cavalier - rear brake lights don't work. The center rear brake light does work as well as all other lights. Replaced the bulbs and fuse - no luck. From what I have been told, the turn signal...

Stop Lamp Circuit Description
The STOP HAZ fuse in the IP junction block supplies battery positive voltage to the normally open stop lamp switch. When the driver presses the brake pedal, the switch contacts close and battery positive voltage is supplied to the center mounted stop lamp (CHMSL) and both left and right stop lamp assemblies. The left stop lamp is grounded at G304 and the right stop lamp is grounded at G304.

Check the ground ! Testing an not guessing is the way to find the problem . Do you know how to test automotive electrical systems an circuits using a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter ? How to use an read a wiring diagram to pin point testing areas in a wiring harness ?

Power window failure, motor replaced, switches replaced no resolve?

Then I would suspect that there is a broken wire or wires, and you should find them inside of the drivers door weather boot that runs from the door to the body of the vehicle, and it contains the wiring for the door electronics. I have repaired wiring in that location an un-countable amount of times, and if you repair any wires be sure that you do solder them together well and do not use wire connectors, that is if you want the repair to be a permanent one. You might also have to repair wiring inside of the passenger side weather boot as well.
