Question about Acer Computers & Internet
I have tried taking out the battery and us AC only still the light will turn on for 1 sec and go back off.I can hear the computer try to turn on. Is this the battery or ???? I have had this computer for 16 to 18 months
That's typical of burned motherboards. it may have been a power surge or oversupply of voltage. some motherboards have an overvoltage protection. see if the AC adapter shorted and is somehow outputting a higher voltage than it should. typical laptop voltage is 19v. if you have an aspire one, it will be less, probably 12 or 9.5. try another compatible ac adapter to see if that fixes the problem.
