SOURCE: Please help us start our Furby. It's never been used.

I just purchased an older Furby in a box too. It also wouldn't start up, even after I reset it several times and put in different batteries. Finally I just set it aside, with the batteries still installed, and it started up by itself about 30 minutes later. After it went to sleep I pushed on it's head to restart it, but it needed to be picked up and restarted by pushing the bottom a couple of times. I "fed" it until it "burped", and it seems pretty energetic now. :-)  Hope this works for you.

SOURCE: just opened it out of a new box and won't start

The motor could of ceased up, the furbys cease up easily and when one motor is down then the whole thing goes down

SOURCE: my furbys voice wont work.

You would have to take a look inside and make sure wires are ok. Could simply be a lose wire to the speaker sort of deal. Hope this helps

My fury boom has no sound. its 2 weeks old. I've reset it

It's probably the speaker. I got exactly the same problem and narrowed it down to a broken internal speaker. I fixed the problem by replacing the speaker.. (Yes, you have to disassemble the furby to do this :( )

Furby won't work

Have you tried restarting? It's different from resetting. You have to keep his tongue down (as if you're feeding him) while resetting. This worked for me when Furby didn't move, only made sound. Good luck! (If you still have it, it's May already)
