Do you have the driver for your printer installed plus software for printer.what os are you running.

Print pdf files


Try to print another type of document, i.e : doc, jpg.
If it 's no problem at another type of document, the problem is on PDF file ( not allowed printing, security setting), or on software for opening PDF file.

Hey im trying to help my sister out with some documents, only it was originally 4 pages which ive manged to get down to 2 double sided documents (ie 2 pages back to front) and now i cant seem to be able to...


Open the saved document then click file print. Then when the print page comes up on your screen set the printer to print to as Microsoft Document Writer. Which is a virtual printer. Then click print, save the file on your computer either my Documents or on the Desktop. Click print.
It will then print your document to a file.

This file can then be attached to an e-mail.

My hp f 380 printer wont print pdf documents if i use the print option from the pdf files. it makes a noise as if getting ready to print but then doesn't. if i copy the pdf document to word it will happily...


in this case
open pdf
the click on print
now you need to look for the option that says print as image and this option has to be checked
you can get the option by clickon on advanced or prefrences

Printer LCD says Cartridge Problem - Tri-Color. Refer to device documentation to troubleshoot.


Before you can troubleshoot the problem, you need to determine its cause.
To determine the cause of the printing problem:
1. Print another PDF file, such as the first page of Acrobat Help:
-- If that file prints correctly, the PDF file that doesn't print correctly may be damaged. See "Resolve problems printing a specific PDF file from an Acrobat product" in this document.
-- If the file doesn't print correctly, go to step 2.
2. Print another type of file (for example, a .txt file) from another application (such as Microsoft Word or WordPad):
-- If that file prints correctly, the problem isn't system-wide--it's specific to the Acrobat product. However, the way Acrobat interacts with the system may affect printing performance. Go to step 3 to eliminate some system-related causes of the problem.
-- If the file doesn't print correctly, the problem is system-wide--it isn't specific to Acrobat or PDF files. The problem could be low system resources, insufficient memory on your printer, or a poor connection between your computer and the printer. Go to step 3 to eliminate some likely causes of the problem.
3. Restart your computer, and then print a PDF file:
-- If the file prints correctly, your system may have been out of memory or resources.
-- If the file doesn't print correctly, go to step 4.
4. Turn off your printer for at least 15 seconds to flush its memory, and then turn it back on and print a PDF file:
-- If the file prints correctly, the printer's memory was too full.
-- If the file doesn't print correctly, go to step 5.
5. Print from another computer:
-- If the file prints correctly, the computer you first tried to print from may be unable to connect to the printer or the network correctly. Contact your network administrator or consult your network documentation.
-- If the file doesn't print correctly, go to step 6.
6. Print a PDF file to another printer:
-- If the file prints correctly, the computer you first tried to print from may be unable to connect to the original printer because of a communication, hardware, or memory problem. Make sure that the printer is turned on and connected properly, and then run a self-test on it to make sure that it's working correctly. For instructions, see the documentation that came with the printer. You may want to contact your network administrator for assistance.
-- If the file doesn't print correctly, see "Resolve problems printing any file from any application" in this document.

Canon 4150 wont print , goes into queue


Have you gone into the queue and deleted the print jobs and started again? Do you have any error lights? If so there could be a hardware problem with the printer.
Try taking out the toner and putting it back in. Sometimes that will force the printer to reset intself.
If that doesn't help then you may have to delete the printer from the system and re-install it.

HP photosmart C5280 document stuck in print que


Delete document manually from the path mentioned below:

1) Press windows + R an then type spool
2) Go to PRINTERS folder.
3) Delete the files present in there.

If not able to delete then
1) Open command prompt.
2) type "net stop spooler" and then delete the files
3)Again type "net start spooler"

Your stuck document is now cleaned. You can start printing your document again.

Printer wont print


open up the printer folder in your computer and then cancel the pending documents after that open SERVICES.MSC that u can easily find searching in your computer and after that look for print spooler restert that service 3-4 times and then restart your computer after that try and print if this oes not help leave a message i have a solution for that as well

Wont print text document


When using Microsoft Word

1. Click on File and then Print
2. Click on Properties to the right of the selected printer
3. Choose Text and Image.

Printing PDF files


I had this problem after I had fixed a problem printing from Quicken. I was able to print from Quicken by changing the print option in Windows -- mine was set to "Spool documents" and I changed it to "Print directly from printer" -- the advice I was given was to change it from whatever it was set at to the other option. For printing a PDF file, I changed it back to "Spool documents" and it allowed me to print the PDF file. Try this and see if it works for you -- click the Windows Start button and select Settings, then Printers and Faxes. Right click on the selected printer and select Properties. In the properties window look for a setting to print directly to printer or spool documents -- mine was under the Advanced option. Try the option not currently selected -- in my case, I changed it back to Spool documents with Begin printing immediately -- and then try to print a PDF file. It looks like I will have to toggle back and forth when I am printing from Quicken and when I am printing a PDF file. Hope this works for you.
