-   Same thing. When my ink cartridge ran out I tried to remove it but it was jammed. I finally forced it out but a new one will not go in. There is something blocking it, probably the same thing that would not allow it to come out. If anyone comes up with a fix I would love to hear about it. Thanks

Press the power button to turn off the printer. Hold down the transfer and left arrow button at the same time. While holding them down at the same time turn on the power button. Let it go through the initialization process and once completed, the head should be in the up position. Open the cartridge door and push the cartridge to make sure it is latched and locked in place. Once the cartridge is latched, release the latch and the cartridge should release itself. Remove the cartridge from the printer.
