The GP88 is a dealer programmable handheld radio. It requires Motorola proprietary software, programming cable and R.I.B. (radio interface box). You will need to inquire of your nearest radio dealer if they have the appropriate software.
This is a very broad question, however if you are just needing some instructions on how to program the Baofeng BF-888 I would start by Checking Google for an operators manual, However these radio's are much easier to program with software. Search Google for a software program called Chirp. I do believe it has support for your radio, and that will allow you to program your radio, for a more detailed tutorial, check youtube.
I assumed that you mean Motorola GTX handheld radio. It can be programming to work with conventional, if it's a trunking radio then need to keep at least one trunking in radio, otherwise it lost all trunking.
