Sounds to me with what you are saying is you do have a bad outlet Jack, checking the wiring feeding the jack or replacing same would be advised.

My dell latitude d510 internal spk is ready but output headfone jek not working

these are fairly passive in that if a headphone or earpiece is plugged in, they switch the output from the internal speaker to the external speaker. So, it's usually one of a few problems.
  • The jack is mucked up, and needs replaced.
  • The headphone plug wires have a broken connection
  • The headphone needs power to amplify, and that's not working.
If trying another headphone or earpiece you know is working doesn't work, it's the jack itself. They can only handle so many uses before they either fail closed, or open or completely. Depending on which one, either:
  • neither speakers nor headphones work.
  • only speakers work
  • only headphones work
Replacement necessitates opening the case and replacing the jack. For that, there's no help.

Bose acoustimas speaker output jacks not working

try to trace your problem inside the main circuitry of the jacks ( open it and see on the solder side of the Printed circuit board(where all the electronic components and soldered/welded if there are loose connections (small cracks... use magnifying glass if you have one) then solder them.
also check for the transistor amplifiers and output capacitors....
check also for the connectivity of all wirings!

Altec lansing ATP4 speakers aren't working

is it possible that you may have plugged the speakers into the microphone or audio input jack on the computer instead of the speaker/headphone/audio output jack?

My amp is not outputting to the built in speaker. I can get output to headphones and have proved it with both guitar and ipod but neither work to the speaker.

Possible problem with teh switch on the headphone jack wooould be my guess. When you plug in the headphones it opens a switch to disconnect the speaker. Unfortunately, these jacks are weak and often the switch fails to close when the hedphones are unplugged.

You need to open the amp and check if you can close the contact by pressing on it. There are several designs of these jacks and MOST are weak and having a cord plugged in and tripping over it is SURE to break the jack.

Here is a site showing jacks for a Fender, but most are similar.
Look at the one with several strips of metaal between the little black walls... they are NOTORIOUS for the switches not working. OFTEN you can bend the springs tigter to restore them. The site with pix in a box at the top:

Brookstone Wireless Outdoor Speaker with Bose 123 System Problem

AUX usually refers to an INPUT, such as a CD player, etc. No signal comes out of a standard AUX jack, unless it specifically says "Aux speaker output". Instead, look for another speaker output jack, such as remote speaker, B speakers, etc. You may only have one set of speaker output jacks, in which case you would need to connect your wireless speaker to the speaker output jacks along with your main speakers, or buy a little speaker selector switch box to switch between main and wireless speakers. There's usually no harm in connecting more than one speaker set to the same outputs, though it is technically not recommended. In the real world, just don't crank it too loud and you'll be fine. The wireless speaker MIGHT run off of a standard line output also, if the wireless speaker has its own power amplifier.

Right speaker doesnt have sound

1ST.-The right jack could be damaged!!
Usually, there is a [+} posaitve & [-] negative input\output to speaker connections. Not all [-]neg. is ground.Sometimes the [+] pos. is grounded. [The exception to the rule is that u SEE the black wire going to ground] the reason I am letting u know this is that u can test the INSIDES of the sound system.
If u can get inside of the unit. Cut the left speaker output [+] posative from both outputs. criss\cross wires.Place left speaker output to right speaker jack[ that does not work!!] & visa versa. If the [LEFT Output] stops working after u plug in the speakers, the internal RIGHT output is damaged. NEEDS TO BE TESTED
If nothing nothing changes. The left still works & the right still does not work, then it is the jack (shorted ?, opened internally ?)
