Kd-s39 brown wire connection

I know the brown wire on this harness is for a cell phone terminal, I just don't have anything to connect it to. I wonder if I need it, since I don't know what a cell phone terminal is and must not have one.

SOURCE: Wiring compressor

The two terminal cap is only for the new fan motor. Connect the compressor wire back where you found it, on the 3 terminal cap. It's the terminal marked, "herm". The "common" terminal on the 3 terminal cap must still be connected to one side of the 220 power at the contactor. One side of the 220 goes to the common on the compressor. The other side of the 220 goes to the run winding on the compressor AND the common terminal on the 3 terminal capacitor.

SOURCE: How to replace the Terminal Cover on top of the Extension Wand

I saw this in another FixYa post

it tells midway down how to get access to the wand fuse (which has the two-prong terminals)
Comment posted on Feb 09, 20082bubbles ok here we go.. fine a small file that will fit the holes at the bottom of the wand and break the file so that the flat end fit into the wand. please make sure the wand is not plug in to anything. now put it into the hole and try to clean it out gently not too hard or you will damage the contacts. after that grab a needle nose pilers and very gently press the contacts. not a lot or it won't fit back into the power-mate. ok now for the top of the wand. if you look at the wand where the button is to extent the wand. on each side you will see a small clip. with a small flat head screw driver push into the clip at the point closer to the wand tube. it will pop out. make sure to check the clip to see how to put it back in. after both clips are out you will notice a that the clips left a gap. the back part of the wand or cover will now slip off. push it toward the gap. then up. after removing the cover. you will see a ribbon strip which is attached to the prongs or fuse .you can remove the fuse and then clean the contacts. please be careful. once this is done you then put it all together and try it out. the fuse is a part that you can buy at sears if you have to. let me know if this helps you out. if it seems like too much just take it to sears and ask them to replace the wand fuse for you instead of replacing the whole wand. hope this helps .

A new harness is available online at nearly every retailer. Amazon, ebay, metraonline, eyc. Connecting wires to the pins without any accidental shorts is difficult at best. Spend $10 and get a new harness.

What is the brown wire on JVC KD sr60 wire harness

That's the "mute" wire. If you ground that wire, it will shut off the audio output for the head unit. It's typically used in combination with add-on Bluetooth units or hands-free phone kits. In a typical installation, you wouldn't connect it to anything, and you'll want to make sure it's insulated.

JVC KD-S39

The wire is for the purpose of controlling the brightness of the display. The wire probably goes to a 12 volt positive lead, but it may also go to a remote knob of some type. In that case if you hook it up to the lead it could cause damage to your unit. I would simply leave it disconnected and if you can read the stereo display okay then keep it that way. If you can't read the display then you might want to connect it to a FUSED 12 volt positive lead.

Connecting battaries for a Rascal Autogo

When you put the second battery in the case paying attention to polarity position, the longer wire will go to the top connector. If you have a voltmeter you can identify which wire has 12 volts on it. It should be the brown wire but verify anyway. This wire has to be connected to the NEGATIVE terminal of the second battery in order to get 24 volts to the scooter. The remaining wire connects to the positive terminal of the battery.

If there are no other connection ports, and you only disconnected the three, it is possible that (if this is an aftermarket wiring harness) the third was put in for similar units with an additional option of some sort, and is not needed for your model. However, I highly suggest referring back to the place of purchase, as well as the manufacturer to find out for sure before plugging the unit in and using it.

1. Connect scan tool. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Turn rear defogger on. Using scan tool, display BCM
outputs. If rear defogger is being requested on, go to next step. If rear defogger is not being requested on, go to
step 10).
2. Ensure ignition switch is in RUN position. Remove rear defogger relay from rear junction block, located on center
right rear of passenger compartment, under rear seat. Connect test light between ground and defogger relay
harness connector terminal F3 (Brown wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not
illuminate, go to step 11).

illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 12).
4. Connect test light between defogger relay harness connector terminals A2 (Red wire) and B3 (Purple wire). If test
light illuminates, go to step 13). If light does not illuminate, go to next step.
5. Disconnect rear defogger positive and negative feed bus connectors. Connect a jumper wire between defogger
relay harness connector terminals F3 (Brown wire) and A4 (White wire). Connect test light between ground and
positive feed bus connector terminal "A" (Black wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not

On the V-6 the small red wire connect to terminal 2 , small brown wire connect to terminal 1. On the I-4 the small red wire connect to terminal S , small brown wire connect to terminal L

The light green wire connects to the positive (+) terminal of the right front speaker.
Connect the dark green wire to the negative (-) terminal of the right front speaker.

5) Make these rear speaker connections:

Brown wire to the left rear positive (+) terminal
Yellow wire to the left rear negative (-) terminal

The dark blue wire attaches to the right rear positive (+) terminal
