SOURCE: Dishwasher lights are all flashing

If you do have the Touch Control Electronic Pad, then you do have a problem, moisture related. You need to open the panel, use a Hairdryer to dry the panel properly and replace. This sorts many of these Touch Control Electronic Pad.

Hi... I just bought Electrolux Dishwasher ESF2433W. When i first time turn it on, light at "Normal" button keep on flashing with beeping sound. After checking the trouble shooting manual, it actually refer...

E4 Overflow

Sometimes during trasport it is possible that styrofoam float mechanicaly activated overflow microswitch. So, you should check complitely overflow system.

At any time, if overflow micro-switch act and keep for longer than 2 seconds, the E4 would occur. When E4 occurs, the drain pump will run until flowmeter keep motionless for 2 minutes (if the model with the pressure switch (83/63),drain pump would run till the pressure switch reset and continue draining for 60 seconds.) and all the other components will be stopped immediately. At the same time, the buzzer will alarm for 30 seconds and error 4 will be shown. Note: Priority level of E4 is the highest. E4 operation is valid after other error operations have done. When E4 operation has done, all the others are invalid.

Spray arms not working

Hi frustrated in Raleigh,
I understand that the spray arms are not moving or spraying water, even after you have cleaned the screens and arms. What might be happening is you are not getting enough water pressure to the dishwasher.
The hot water line to your dishwasher must provide water pressure between 20 and 120 psi.
Low water pressure may occur when laundry or showers are in operation.
Wait until water use is reduced before starting dishwasher.
If you are still noticing that the spray arms are not moving or spraying water, I would have a local Authorized Technician come out to see what exactly is going on with the spray arms of your dishwasher.

-Best Regards-

Hobart commercial under the counter diswasher LXIC Model Number 130016. DELIME light comes on every day at startup. Machine will immediatly run (in DELIME mode I think) for about 5-10 min and then get E4...

The machine is trying to tell you to delime it. After a certain number of wash cycles, the LXI dishwasher reminds you to run a delime cycle (instructions are on a label on the bottom of the dishwasher). Judging from your posting, it's been ignored for quite some time, so you may need to run multiple delime cycles, depending on how much scale is built up inside the machine on the probes, wash arms, rinse arms, drain body (though you can't see this part, heavy scale deposits will cause draining problems). So . . . . get some good strong delimer and run a few delime cycles (talk to your chemical supplier about delimer - don't buy some weak stuff like LIME-A-WAY off the shelf).

Once you've delimed the machine, your E4 code may go away. E4 is the dishwasher's way of telling you that it did not fill properly on the initial fill (when you first turn on the machine). More specifically, it means the dishwasher DID NOT SENSE WATER at the upper probe at the rear right of the tank (there are two probes back there, on one assembly, referred to as the MIDDLE and UPPER water level probes). The probe may be coated with lime causing difficulty sensing water at the probe, so a good deliming may clean the probe and fix the E4 problem (in fact, reach back to the probes and break off any heavy built-up lime/scale deposits before deliming). If the E4 code persists after deliming, watch the pressure gauge on the front of the dishwasher. If the gauge reads lower than the green area, you need to adjust or replace the water pressure regulator. If the E4 problem still persists, replace the probe assembly at the rear of the dishwasher.

Idw604 error code e4

had same problem. Tilt dishwasher to the left and drain all the water (it will come out on the side). That's E4 solved. Now turn it on, E4 should not light up. If it does, turn it on and as soon as u do this, close the door. This won't activate the Trip Switch but will automatically turn the pump on. Good luck!

E4 error after attempting to fill and get to temp

This is what I found for the E4 code...hope this helps...and thanks for rating my effort...The Fang.

Machine won't fill or won't fill high enough(LX18, LX30 display shows "E0," "E2," "E3," or "E4")

1.Low water pressure — check for clogged hose strainer; check that site water pressure meets minimum flow pressures.
2.Make sure probes are clean.
3.No water pressure — main water supply valves may not be working.
4.Drain valve open - turn machine off to drain machine, then on. Repeat twice (this assists in clearing any drain valve obstructions). Wait for machine to reach READY mode and press WASH. Slowly open door several seconds later and note water level. Close door; 30 seconds later, open door slowly and check that water level is the same as it was. If not, repeat the
OFF-ON procedure.
5. Delime machine.

I have a Eurotech EDW154E dishwasher. I keep getting an error code 4. The previous owners said there is a way to reset the machine. Any ideas?

Eurotech Dishwashers are notorious for the E1 and E4 faults. The problem is with the solenoid they use for filling the dishwasher. The problem is something called the "Venturi Effect". The Venturi Effect is the reduction in fluid pressure that results when a fluid flows through a constricted section of pipe. The fluid velocity must increase through the constriction to satisfy the equation of continuity. while its pressure must decrease due to conservation of energy. The gain in kinetic energy is balanced by a drop in pressure or a pressure gradient force. I know, a lot of big words. To put it simply, the orifice within the solenoid is smaller than the inlets and outlets. Even more simply put: Not enough water is getting into the dishwasher. It appears that Eurotech isn't like a simple washing machine that senses fluid level and then shuts off the solenoid. It seems that it's on a simple timer. Turn on the solenoid for X time then turn it off. If not enough water, send fault code. It's a design flaw and I'm not certain there are many ways around it. Just make certain that you have a good water feed to the dishwasher (no kinks, valve on completley etc.). One thing you may try is reducing the feed pressure (i.e. slightly turn down the water valve supply to the dishwasher). Doing so may diminish the venturi effect by equalizing inlet pressure, hence allowing more water into the dishwasher. It's worth a try.

E4 indicates water level has not reached top water sensor. Check for proper flow-water pressure to machine (15-25psi) and clean sensor in wash tank
