Question about Dell Inspiron Computers & Internet
I have a dell inspiron laptop and its says "Bootmgr is missing, press ctrl+alt+del to restart" I have done that but this wont work. Please help me. Thank you.
Call up dell service and if the laptop has no warranty then you can also visit the nearest tech center as your computer software is crashed and your data there's no guaranty for the same......also you should have all the disks that came with the computer specifically the one that says Windows. If not then dell can ship it to you.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: bootmgr is missing
You will need to boot off of windows Vista DVD. Click next at first prompt. When you move to the next screen you will see Repair my computer. click "repair your computer" It will take you to the drive or partion with windows currently installed on it. Click next then click on startup repair.

SOURCE: BOOTMGR is missing
This error can be corrected by reloading your Laptop's Operating System from the Restore disks you got with your computer. Place your Restore disk into the drive and restart the computer. The install will re-create the missing Boot Manager.

Hi, This is more than likely a problem with your hard drive, one of 2 solutions is to reload windows again by pressing F2 on start up repeatedly until you get into the bios settings, Once in then set your laptop to boot from the dvd rom then press F10 to save and exit.
Place your windows DVD in the drive and restart your laptop then simply follow the on screen instructions to re-load windows.
If however this fails to complete then i would suspect your hard drive is faulty and would need to be replaced, these range from price depending on how large you want the drive.
If this does turn out to be faulty then replace with the new one and then follow the step above.
Hope this helps.
