However the scoop still jerky and stays in one position. I to pump water through the tube by activating the toggle switch. This worked couple times, but will not. The motor on the scoop runs for the awhile then quit.

In my suggestion I suggested " pussing compressed air thru the controls at the entrance to frig Ice Maker in back" this need to be physically removed and held in your hand to blow ait backwards thru it. Involves shutting off your water supply to frig and removing the lines in front and behind on frig to remove unit to be cleaned.

Sounds like the intake line at the entrance to the refrigerator is plugged with lime residue. It has a needle valve in the center and will clog with foreign material, this can be cleaned out by forcing compressed air pressure backwards thru this connection to remove tiny particles inside.

The best way to clean your blender

I used to hate using my blender. I could make great smoothies or hearty soups but after I was done, I hated to clean it. The blender would be covered in small seeds or other small pieces of food that were stuck on. Plus, I'd be terrified of the cutting myself on the sharp blade (even when the blender was unplugged.)

So here is what you do:

1. Boil enough water to fill the blender.
2. Put a few drops of soap in the blender and plug it in.
3. Pour the boiling water over the soap in the blender, cover it and turn on.
You can let the blender run for two minutes, until it is clean or until all the little pieces are removed from the sides.
4. Rinse out with water and repeat if necessary.

And there you have it, using a blender just became a little easier.. since the cleanup is no longer a hassle.

The Ice Reservoir has a release botton at the back of the reservoir. The button must be pushed down at which time you can lift from the back and remove the ice reservoir. You can download the operating instructions for your machine here:

The part you are looking for is called the Ice Melt Reservoir. It collects the water from the melting ice left in the Ice Reservoir.

The manufacturer has a Parts & Accessories page here:

Parts & Accessories for your blender are also available here:

http://www.blenderexpert.com/margaritaville-blender-parts.html

Unfortunately the Ice Melt Reservoir does not look to be a stocked part. I would recommend you contact the manufacturer directly to inquire whether this part can be made available. See their webform here:

I was using my blender and stopped to add more ice for a smoothy mix, but when I tried to start it up again the lights began flashing at random but the blender would not work. Why?

It sounds like it may have overheated. Firstly, Switch it off and let it cool down for a few hours. Quite often it will burst back into life. If not, you will probably need a new control board. These come in several variations:
