Question about Exterior for Nissan 240SX Fastback
I have a 1991 Nissan 240SX and I need to replace the rear upper brake light bulb or bulbs. This is on the trunk lid and there appears to be two bulbs but I'm not sure. The light does not work. I have removed the light cover and can hardly see the socket. I don't know if it twists off, or pulls out, or what?
See the three rectangular holes on the base of the light socket as shown on your image, those are locking clips that holds and locks the light socket against the base of the light housing, you may use a small flat head screwdriver to pry them open but you need to do that on all three clips almost simultaneously to release the base of the light socket, be careful not to break them off, they're made of plastic.
