Spin cycle incomplete

Incomplete cycle. Occurs between wash and spin. We flip over to Spin setting and it works. The discharge hose is not clogged, not kinked and has appropriate clearance into the pipe. Pump filter is also clean and clear. Help please! ~Robby

Sounds like you may of had an unbalanced load. It will not spin if it can not balance the load.

You may have some articles that made their way into the pump housing. Alot of times I see dimes get stuck in the ports of the pump, remove and check out thoroly and also check hoses coming to pump for little son of a gun articles that like to hide.

SOURCE: Incomplete wash cycle.

It sounds as if you have something acting as a flap causing the restriction. You should take the hose that leads from the tub to the pump off and see if there is anything just inside the tub. I have noticed that alot times you could have a coin that blocks the opening. You may have to remove the inner tub to remove anything in there

Possibly worn brushes in motor.
Remove rear panel, remove belt, remove motor connector plug, inscrew 2 screws that secure the motor.
Lever motor back with a screwdriver, keeping hold of it as you do.
You will see the brushes at the terminal end of the motor.
If they are less than 4-5mm, they need to be replaced.
Refit motor and belt and motor plug. Test on spin
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

LE error in your LG front load washer is displayed when either the motor is not working or the control board thinks that the motor is locked up. A Hall Effect sensor is used in these washers which monitors the speed and direction of the motor and then forwards this information to the control board. Hope you understand by now that this LE error is displayed when there is an issue with the motor or when the Hall Effect sensor sends wrong signal to the control. Conclusion is you'll have to check both motor and hall sensor and replace the part# that is bad, usually I have seen the sensor going bad. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Drum is spinning during spin cycle, but drum is not emptying.

Water pump is not working because:
  • The inlet is clogged with lint
  • The pump drive is broken.
  • The discharge hose is plugged or crimped.

Clothes coming out soaking wet

put it in the spin cycle and if nothing is coming out the drain hose it is most likely the drain pump ....just a fyi some are easier than others to replace.
I don't see the make and model of this machine so to give you specifics I can't. just general directions.
also I would check under the dasher there is a screen under there if you wash DIRTY clothes and maybe add a case of dog/cat hair it could be restricting the flow but wouldn't stop it totally.
also another fyi if you do get to that point use a toothbrush to clean it as you don't want to poke any holes in it.
Hope this helps.

Electrolux front load washing machine ew10001 spin cycle slow on "SPIN" setting runs fine through regular wash setting? any ideas?

Hello jamespeattie - Does the washer making a humming noise? If so, either the drain hose may be kinked or the drain in the house is clogged. Once you have confirmed and cleaned the hose and if issue continues contact a professional to move forward accurately. The unit may possibly have a faulty pump or control board.

We have a Kenmore 3.5 Super Capacity Quiet Tumble Action Wash Easy Access. The spin cycle works however the water won't drain and our laundry is soaked. Help...

It could be either the pump or a clog in the discharge hose. Take a shop vac and attach it to the discharge hose to remove the water from the machine. Remove the pump housing and run a wire down the discharge hose to check for a clog. If there is no obstructions, reattach the pump housing and remove the pump motor. Run a spin cycle and see if the pump motor turns.

Does not fully empty at end of cycle.

Make sure that you are using high efficiency (he) detergent. Not using he detergent will cause this. Also make sure that the drain hose is put in the drain hole no more than 12 inches.

The motor will not spin..... can i have a diagram of a motor of ultimate care ii washing machine

The typical problems with "the motor will not spin" is a:

1. Lid-switch (very frequent): Will not drain, incomplete cycling, switch ultimately passes power to motor.
2. Belt or coupling (very frequent) - Belt moves when motor spins
3. Timer/control board (rare)
4. Tranmission (rare)
5. Motor (somewhat rare)

How do you know the actual motor is not spinning? Do you mean, the tub not spinning? Do you have a noise as if the motor is spinning?
