If you are talking about the power from the psu there is only one place it will go. Probably talking about the switch connections though. For that you will need to look a diagram of the board that shows which pins are for what. some boards are stamped with this info or come with the diagram.

Problem of my msi desktop

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle to shutdown or fail to detect a hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your "((MOTHERBOARD TO THE HARD DRIVE))" make sure they have a

secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty if it's a flat 40pin ide

this will be the first to fail

make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electical extensions

or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs power and data to travel through every working device and continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error

make sure your ram modules are securely seated with no dust in the sockets also the Cmos battery has charge with no dust in the socket
on some motherboards cmos batteries are soldered in

Don't have manual and I am not sure how to connect the power switch, reset switch, power LED and HDD LED

if you do not have the manual it's here.

http://www.msi.com/index.php?func=downloaddetail&type=manual&maincat_no=1&prod_no=260

those leads go on pins that are together usually by one edge of the board. They are hard to see but are marked.you should be able to see the reset and power switch quite clearly and if the leads are not lablelled then trace them back to the small reset switch and the power on switch
