Question about Computers & Internet
It sounds like that it is your power supply. A power supply you can expect to pay $30 to $40. The best thing to do is take your cover off and unscrew the power supply and take it to a computer store. Not really Best Buy more like Microcenter or even Better a small computer shop ... they sell power supply. It may seem a little intimadating but it is realitively easy... once you have the case open follow the power plug to the cdrom or one of the hardrives to the bigger silver box that has the fan on it. Unscrew that... take it to the shop with you and let them know that you need a power supply that has the wattage equal to or greater than what you have. Don't be intimidated.... if you can fix this yourself you will save yourself about $80. Good Luck... Hope this works out for you! Pay attention how you unplug everything cause your going to need to plug the new one back in and screw it down.
I hope this helps!!!
