Dishwasher rack falls off

Could it be that KitchenAid wants you to replace the entire rack? Check with a local appliance parts supplier if you can because the roller must be a hot replacement item.

The racks all fall out if even the slightest weight is on them, very scary keep waiting to burn myself badly

Hello Kathy Manson - Unfortunately, based on the symptoms you are describing, the oven liner would need to be replaced. The oven liner cannot be adjusted or shimmed to resolve this issue. If I was in your position, I personally recommend consulting an experiencing service technician to assist with the repairs.

There is a button on the top receiver bracket on the left side... when you take the rack support bracket out you will see it. Take a damp sponge and go over that area, pressing the plunger/button in several times. That should do it. Sometimes grease build up can prevent the button from popping out all the way, so the oven thinks that the racks are still in there.

THE OVEN DOOR WON'T CLOSE ALL THE WAY

I had this problem on my Wolf Dual Fuel oven after I removed the oven racks and oven rack supports in preparation for the self clean cycle. Wolf recommends this removal to avoid discoloration of the racks due to the extreme heat.
After cool down I re-installed the racks and the door wouldn't close fully. I messed around for quite a while, everything looked fine but then noticed that the rack support on the left hand side of the oven was not correctly mounted on the support studs/screws on the side of the oven wall. There are 4 keyhole slots on the rack support that have to aligned correctly with the studs if they're not the racks interfere with the fit of the door.

Electrolux Icon Oven won't self clean - "Remove Racks" displayed

I was getting the remove rack error until I finally figured out what it wanted me to remove. When you say you removed the rack supports, do you mean just the sliding parts or the whole side metal rack support? At first I thought they were bolted in, but I read somewhere that they come out, too. Upon further investigation, I found the rack supports just slide into the side walls at 4 points. I had to use a little force to pull them out, but they came out and my oven is self-cleaning as I write this. I just thought I would share in case you or others haven't figured it out yet. Now I will just have to see how hard it is to get them back in...

Oven racks

Hello bargarmar
Welcome

You said, Your Jen-Air stove's oven racks keep falling after the heats been on. This is scary and unsafe. Your gas range is only 2 years old.

This may be caused by the racks being left inside the range when using the self cleaning system. Which can cause the racks to become warped and or discolored.
If they are warped they may not sit even in the oven while baking and also move or change their shape
form the heat every time you use the warped racks in the oven.

If you leave the oven light on before you start the oven and watch the racks as they warm up with weight on them you will see if this is the case.
Then you will want to replace them.
Let me know what happens.
