Whenever I am texting or typing any messages it is always a voice text. I am having hard time specially in sending messages because I always have to talk in my phone just to automatically type the message and I don' t like it. I want my phone to back to normal. Please help me to solve this! I am not sure if I accidentally changed the settings or its because of the application.

SOURCE: Phone Sending MMS Messages as Default

The phone allocates a certain amount of storage for messages on a whole. Even though there may still show space available for text messages, you have hit an invisible "limit" and the phone is now defaulting to MMS messages because there is "room" there. Delete a fair amount of messages and you should be able to start sending regular text's again.

SOURCE: my phone keeps shutting off every time i go to type a text message

If it's truly a loose battery, more than likely it's the connections that are making secure contact. You can try with a thin pinted implement to pry the connection tabs on the battery compartment (the connectors onthe battery itself are fixed and imovable) outward ever so slightly and that will make for a better connection. But use care so that you don't over bend and break the connections.

Also look for any corrosion onthe connections which can cause intermittent failures.

Google voice

Hello Dawn,
You cannot send or receive text messages with Google Voice, unless you have your own, Google-issued Google Voice telephone number. You don't -- you have a Google Voice "lite" account, which uses generic Google relay numbers instead.
If you are located within the 48 contiguous US states, then you can get your own GV number.
