It should say what discs your writer accepts on the tray of your CD or DVD writer. For instance DVD-R means it takes the negative DVD's. DVD+R means it takes the positive ones. RW means it is compatible with re-writeable discs.

Dvd will not load when trying to add another movie to one already recorded on the dvd.

its possible that the disc was finalized on recording and it isn't possible to record on a disc after that.

Where can i buy a CD-RW Audio(rewritable) for my CDR 775 Audio Cd recorder?

Web search for them, check eBay. ANY media that has 'digital audio' in its description will work. They don't have to be re-writeable.

"cd-rw audio discs"

Trying to back up Windows 7 when I get to the 4th disk it pops out with error report I need to load a new writeable disk I have used 4 with the same error report

This may be because the DVD writer is slightly overheated. Nothing to be alarmed about but wait 5 min before placing in another disc.

Trying to burn a dvd with windows media player. the type of disc i purchased is DVD-R. It keeps telling me to insert a writeable disc?????

Have you burn a disc before with this computer??? if so, make sure the disc is new, no scratches, also, you can clean your disc tray with a dvd cleaner disc, not expensive and needs to be done after every 10hrs of use, keeping it clean will save you alot of heartache.....hope this helps.......
