I went to Sony and they didn't have my model number listed....my computer is 5 years old
They didn't have blue ray 5 years ago on a laptop. I bet it works with a dvd.

Try using VLC player or Windows Media Player Classic.
You will also need to install CCCP to view them.
I looked at the Corel site, said you needed to download, at a price, WinDVD 9 Plus Blu-ray.
Hope this helps. That sucks you get a Blu-ray player and need to pay extra to view the movies. Typical.
Hope the alternative media players help.
