Question about Wacom Bamboo Wireless Accessory Kit
I have the new wacom intruos pen small CTL-480 and bought the wireless accessory kit but it won't connect I have installed the latest drivers from wacom on my Macbook Pro. The tablet works fine when plugged in but when I disconnect it the wireless kit does nothing I have tried to turn it on via the button on the wireless kit but still nothing happens. Please can you help me?

SOURCE: Wacom tablet won't recognize pen
Hmm. I've had a similar thing happen with my tablet. Have you tried removing the tablet pen from the list of tools in tablet preferences and then adding it to the list again before checking the 'About' section of the tablet pen set-up and clicking the 'diagnose' button there in? As that worked for me when my tablet pen was not working. The pen was recognized by the tablet after that.

I'm just gonna pass on a email from Tech Support I recieved.
"It sounds as though your pen has pressure in proximity. This is present when the tip sensor of your pen is stuck down causing the pen to think that it’s clicking before it’s even touching anything. What you may want to try would be to remove the nib from the tip end of the pen, it pulls straight out with a pair or tweezers or your teeth, and leave that out overnight with the pen left on its side. Place the nib back in the morning and if the issue persists then you may have a defective pen tip."
The rest consists of personal info and warranty advice so I'll leave it there.

SOURCE: wacom intuos3 pen is not working
A few hours ago Wacom released a new driver 6.1.2-5 for the Windows 7/Vista/XP operating systems. I was having the same problem. Hopefully this will be a permanent fix!

You should get the tablet, and then get some tape, and then move around the wire, and then when it turns on, tape it onto the tablet, and then it should work intill you take off the tape.

Testimonial: "Thank you! Since posting I had determined that it was a wire placement issue and I have been managing. But, I will definitely tape it and see how that goes!"
