Ae you trying to get your Heater to work, or are you having problems wit it "over heating"?? Could be your heater core rusted out, or your thermostat not opening?? Depends... Good Luck!!

SOURCE: Heating not working

I can think of a couple reasons: 1 thermostat stuck,2 blend door mal function,3 heater core is stopped up. Does it overheat when driving? Or after a trip and you park do you hear a bubbling sound from under the hood? Need more info

Heater problems 2009 dodge nitro v6.

Possible, with rad cap off, let vehicle idle until coolant fan comes on then shut vehicle off for 30 minute cool down. Top up rad, install cap and drive and recheck heater operation and any overheating.

How do I flush water out and add antifreeze to my 2001 dodge intrepid

Technically speaking, the cooling system uses a 50-50 mix of coolant and water. You can buy coolant already mixed, or full strength.
There are hydrometers that you can buy to test the condition of the coolant. I would suggest draining the radiator and refilling with full strength, then test it. You would still have some water in the block and heater core to mix with the new coolant.

2008 Dodge Nitro - Heater blows but not hot air, A/C works

There is casting sand in it (the heater core) and its stopped up. I just fixed an 08 nitro for nothing. Remove the heater core hose closest to the motor at the firewall. Cut off a piece of garden hose about 4 foot long and slip it over the core pipe, so you can flush it out. Now remove the other hose but leave the hose attached to the core. You will be unhooking it downstream on another pipe by the exhaust. Now get an empty milk just to catch the antifreeze and sand. Use compressed air to blow the antifreeze out. I used a 10 gallon air tank with a blow nozzle(rubber tip). Get some hot water from the sink and fill it up through the garden hose and repeat the blowing out. Reverse hoses every other time you blow it out. You will see sand in your milk jug at the bottom. It only takes a teaspoon of sand to stop it up. When you stop getting sand your done but dont forget to top the heater core back up with antifreeze. Your done for free. Chrysler wanted $1200 to fix my daughters nitro and I did it for nothing. Works like new again. Jeep is the worst about casting sand left over from the block molding process and Nitro is just another Jeep. Also, you dont need to go crazy with the air. Just hold it in the hose with a fairly firm grip and gently give it a little air till you get the feel of it. Anyone can do this job and on the hose clamps I used a pair of short channel lock pliars and be gentle while you twist the hoses off. Take your time. I spent 1 1/2 hours doing this and its new again. Have a great day friend.

I am flushing my radiator today, and need to know how much anti freeze my car should need. it is a 2003 Dodge neon SE.

It will need as much as it takes, which is impossible to tell depending on how you flushed it.
But your whole system takes more than 2 gallons, and since you want a 50/50 mix you know you will need more than one gallon of antifreeze. So you need to start by purchasing 2 gallons. If you have left over, it does not go bad. And if you do not quite have enough, you can probably add a little extra water because you probably did not flush all the antifreeze out.
Once you run it, then next time it will need more again after the heat bleeds the air out.

I'm going to install lighted running boards on my dodge nitro 2009,I need to know if there is any problum tying them into the interior lighting.

I would recommend splicing into the running light circuit. If you cant find the wire bundle in the chassis, I would run a wire back to the brake light box and tie into the running light system.
