Question about NorStar Lands Phones
How should the speaker be disassembled from the speaker front on a Jamo Power 555 speaker. Is it glued to the front or??
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Both, But start at the rear to remove the electronics and the outer barrels. Remove any rubber grip to expose 'hidden screws'. I would mark everything or document with pictures during disassembly.

I would try a new power adaptor cord 1st, they go bad alot and I have been on calls to soder the DC power socket many times, when it was simply a power cord problem.
If a new cord does not work the assembly manual can be downloaded from HP at this address:

SOURCE: Z2300 satellite disassemble
1. Remove the black face screen.
2. The 4 holes on the satellite that hold the face screen on have a rubber stopper in each. Pop those out with a screw driver. There are now 4 screws to take out.
3. The front silver face plate is now only held on by glue. Take a hair drier around the edges to soften the glue, then carefully pry the front face plate off, being careful not to damage it (I pried it from the bottom so any damage wouldn't be noticed).
Note: the 3 screws on the bottom have nothing to do with removing the face plate.

With the head flipped upside down, take a flat tipped screw driver and carefully pry up the rollers on the front the head. Underneath, you'll find a screw. Remove the screw under each roller, and the front cover will come off with ease. The rollers are just friction fit.

yes..the only solution is to pop the front panel with screwdriver...to do this more efficiently (without breaking the front panel) ...first insert the thin screwdriver in the gap in front lanel on side wall...and rotate the screw driver 90 degree..this will pop that side....repeat it on other sides too...i did it last night only.....
my problem was that when i dropped the speaker....its magnet fell down...and its no longer working...i am trying to find another broken bose speaker to replace mine...from e bay,,but no luck till now :(

Remote Control Battery Replacement
To replace the battery, remove the two screws on back of the
remote and disassemble. It is a "Button" type battery not sure what the number is but look at the battery and find the number on it and replace it with the same style battery
