I search for a thermostat on zanussi part and the one they have is a small part that I cant see anywhere at the back of my dryer. Could you please help me I need to now if the thermostat has anything to do with the box I found or where is it ? Thanks Iris

Maytag neptune dryer heats but wont tumble

When you spin it by hand, is there resistance? Can you hear the motor turning? In fact, when you switch it on and it starts to heat, can you hear the motor turning, or is it silent?

Sounds like the belt is broken, in which case there will be little resistance.

If there is resistance, it may be the motor or circuitry controlling the motor.
