SOURCE: The Blazer micro torch does not ignite (no hissing

Hi. Get a piece of very fine wire, hardware store is a good source, and run it into the nozzle. Chances are that the nozzle is clogged. Once it is hissing again it will ignite unless you also need a new flint. J.

Blazer pocket micro torch will not spark. Gas comes out, but no spark to ignite it.

try to open up the part where the spark would come from. there should be a screw on the bottom or top to open it. This is where the flint would be.

The flint is probably worn down or it broke (you can buy new flints at pretty much any convince store around they are i believe $1-2 for 5 of them.

replace the flint and you will have a spark.

Several new torch lighter, filled with butane, has spark, wont light.

adjust the fuel output , it is easiest to do by holding the button down while lighting the flame with a seperate lighter and then setting the flame on the lighter that does not ignite proper, also take into account that the temperature of the lighter by being held in your hand for a while or by being in your pocket can have a great effect on the pressure of the buttane being expelled.

Brand new Weller Mcm Magna Lite butane torch does not light

If this is an itty ***** torch, The fuel is very sensitive . Too much screws up the air fuel ratio so try turning it way down and after the tip has heated up, you can increase your flame. Good Luck, Ned
