E11 thermador

Thermador built in Fridge-freezer (T36IB..) experienced a 3 day power outage in area thanks to Hurricane Irma. During that time it was cleaned out and freezer was dumped and when power came back on it was working, and in a few minutes it started it's beeping noise and error code E 11. Freezer and refrigerator are both working, I have tried turning it on and off at the button and then once at the breaker. I have tried holding down the alarm button 3-5 seconds; I have a hunch it may be the freezer/ice maker trying to "start up". Any ideas what to try next?

Have a GE refrigerator side by side came home electronic display was out, food compartment was warm, ice melted in freezer, food thawing but lights were on . What's happening no motor sounds run

Without your model number I can't give you a part number but I can tell you the part. GE refridgerators have what they call a main dome control board. This is located on the back of the machine, usually closer to one side or the other and about halfway up the machine. This board really controls everything, even as far as the dispenser in the door. I personally think this is a poor design, even though they look awesome cosmetically. Locate your model number, usually in the refridgerator side somewhere, and go to to order the part. This is becuase they have a return policy that no one can beat. If you install the part and it doesn't work they will take it back and refund you, where as any other part distributor have a no return policy on electronic parts. Good Luck, but you won't need it. This is an easy repair.

My refridgerator/freezer isn't as cold as its been. We cleaned coils, grate, everything. What next?

if freezer is okay...and its just affecting the fresh food..pull the freezer rear panel and see if its frosted on the coils..if so, use a hair dryer to melt the will work now, but you have a defrost problem and need to check the heater, defrost thermostat, and timer or electronic defrost control....

Kenmore elite trio refridgerator with an error code ER FF

ER FF is "Error Freezer Fan." Once the evaporator fan stops turning for more than 115 seconds, this error message2.gif will be displayed. This fridge2.gif is poorly designed and is not designed with air gaps or enough air gaps to allow air behind the back panel of the freezer2.gif where the fans and condenser coils are located thus causing ice to build up around the fan and it's ability to spin. The evaporator fan helps circulate the cold air generated by the condenser coils.

The fix is (1) defrost your refrigerator2.gif which means you'll loose all your food if you don't have another unit to keep the food in until it's done defrosting or (2) to dismantle the entire freezer by removing all the trays and railing so that you can pull the back panel far enough to get the front end of a hair dryer over the top lip of the panel to melt the ice. My unit had ice build at the top right and left corners behind the panel. I opted for the latter and didn't have to throw any food away.

Good luck

GE Side By Side not cooling on refridgerator side.

Look on the back panel inside the freezer for ice beginning to show. Most times when this happens the fresh food section is the first to notice. Your refrigerator has a control board on the back. If not defrosting the air flow to the fresh food section is greatly reduced. Let me know, Sea Breeze

Refridgerator and freezer no longer cold!

Try disconnecting the fridge for a few minutes and then listen for the compressor to come on not just the fans.

My freezer in my side by side Maytag Refridgerator is not keeping food cold -everythings melting -ice in ice maker is melting - motor is running but making periodic clicking sounds.

turn the unit off at the motor/compressor is over heating hence the clicking noise when it cuts out. Defrost it with both doors open for 48 hours. then try it again.
