Question about Computers & Internet
I want to restore my gateway netbook to its original facotry settings without Ubuntu Operating system
If you still have the windows OS on there, start your laptop and press F8 until the restore, repair screen shows, then run restore. That should do it.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Very simple! You need to go into Cmos for the setup which is usualy F2 on boot. Once in the setup you go to the end page whwere it asks you if you want to restore factory defaults. Simply click on it then press save and exit. If F2 does not work on the boot to access Cmos setup then look at the screen as it starts to boot and it will usualy tell you what function key is for setup. Good luck Phil

inorder to restore it,it is necessary that you have a recovery disc...it generally comes with hp and dell.no idea abt gateway...try that if you have one...else go to your control panel->system restore(or directly search for system restore in windows search).click on restore windows to a previous time...hope this works.
