If it gives you message about the resolution, set the computer to use native resolution of the monitor. You can change the resolution by right clicking on desktop and choosing "screen resolution".

SOURCE: Auto Config Please Wait message

Each monitor has a menu option. Find out with your manual how to access your menu options for your specific model and in there is an option to display messages or warnings. You can turn it off there.

Here is a link to get the manual:

Starting on page 15 are the directions for the monitor controls. Page 17 indicates a "RESET" feture to Clear the Old-Statuses of "Auto-Configuration". There are quite a number of setting for this monitor.

SOURCE: I keep getting an ''Auto Config Please Wait'' sign

once you are online, go to the website for the monitor, and download the latest drivers. if that doesn't help, go to computer makers site, and do same thing. Seems the driver you need is absent from operating system.

Config box keeps popping up

Try booting into the safe mode (On boot, hold down F8). Your problem may not occur in this mode. Then switch back to normal mode. If you happen to have an S or yellow compositte video cable, try hooking up your computer TV-out to TV (any). If problems still remains your video card (or onboard video) or monitor cable are suspect.
