Question about Linksys Wireless-G WRT54G Router
I tried to set up a security code for my linksys wireless G router. Somehow I am locked out of the router accidently. My wireless router shows up with the name _SES_29049 which I did not put in. They are now asking me for a password word that I dont have
On the rear of the router is a recessed reset button. You'll need something like a pen point or a straightened paperclip to press it. Turn off the router (pull out the AC adapter plug), the plug it back in while pressing the reset button. After the lights on the router quit blinking, let go of the button. This will reset the router to factory settings. When you go to //192.168.1.1 and are prompted for username and password, the username is blank and the password is admin. (It's possible the username may be admin and the password is password. This was in some versions of the router.) Then you can set your router up again the way you want.
