Need code for Concord ceiling fans

You have this backwards. The code is stored in the remote. The receiver is located inside the fan housing. You can try removing batteries from the remote, pressing all buttons to eliminate the possibility of a stuck one, reinstalling batteries (or installing new ones) and testing operation. If no results, disconnect power at the ceiling fan source, not the fan itself. Pause briefly, reconnect power and test operation.

Remote controlled ceiling fan not responding

most problems with remote controls cannot be repaired outside of what is suggested above. If you have problems, contact the manufacturer, perhaps the fan is under warranty, or parts are available. Otherwise chances are the fan will stay broken.

with Hampton Fans,, normally if the remote is good with a known good battery , and it quits working,, its the remote receiver, not the actual remote that goes bad. you can contact these guys I heard they have the part you need http://www.ceiling-fans-n-more.com/hampton-bay-ceiling-fan-parts.php

My ceiling fans original remote is broken adn I need to get a code to set the universal remote to turn on/off my fan

While it's true a lot of ceiling fan remotes and receivers are universal, there are exceptions. Obviously you need a dedicated ceiling fan remote, not something picked up at a local wal-mart that controls t.v.'s and dvr's. I would need to know what kind of system you have. One of the most common types is a UC7067 4 dipswitch (64 -bit) sytem. Look in the battery compartment of your remote for 4 tiny micro switches this will let you know. If you have this system, you can get replacement parts from www.fanmanlighting.com or call them at 1-866-600-3267

Hunter ceiling fan is stuck on high speed

If it has a chain, buy a light dimmer switch so it will not have 1 speed anymore. If it has a remote control, buy a new remote control like your old one. Try different numbers on remote control.

There is a a major ceiling fan manufacturer in Fort Lauderdale FL called King of Fans (website: kingoffans.com) that deals strictly with Hampton Bay ceiling fans & parts. They are the Home Depot distributor for Hampton Bay ceiling fans. Their number is 1-800-330-3267. There is also a 1-877-527-0313 number for Hampton Bay products other than ceiling fans...

You can also try ebay for OEM replacement fan remotes for the various brands including Hampton Bay...

Wireless ceiling fan

there are remote controlled fan out on the market.

there are also devices the make it remote, but the cord is for power so i dont think you can hide the wires to much without going thru the ceiling.

if you have no access of the cieling then the wire must be there for powering of the fan run along the wall, try stapling the wire to the cieling like around the egdes of the ceiling then perhap painting the wire the same color of the ceiling.

you do not have much option to work with.

you have to make sure you buy the right remote controll

but it still need power.

there a site for remote controls for fan or just buy a new fan all together. im sure they put the plug there for a reason because if you use the fan alot they do go bad.

Good luck
