Mitsubshi Heavy Aircon fan coil uit auto on issue

The Mitsubishi Heavy Air Conditioners ACM-SCM60ZG-S purchased a few years ago gave me probem very recently. The fan coil unit could be on by itself and kept blowing the maximum strength wind. Remote is unable to off it (remote works properly). Need to switch off the main switch to stop it. Any input is appreciated in advance.

I recommend putting new batteries in the remote. If that alone solves your problem great. If not, get back and let me know

SOURCE: outside unit fan not turning no cold air inside.

Ok here we go. It is possible that the capacitor for that fan unit is out or the motor for that unit is out. Without the proper tools i.e. an electrical meter, there isn't really a way to test the unit. The remote should not have anything to do with the unit activating if the is a manual thermostat. I suggest checking to see if either the motor has gone bad or the capacitor has bit the dust. If you have the motor changed make sure to replace the capacitor

Good Luck on your repairs hope I helped you some\

1994 mitsubishi lancer aircon problem..is it possible to change the mitsubishi aircon motor to nissans aircon motor?

best talk to an a/con technican as there is a size/capacity requirement for compressors. While it may be feasable to fit another compressor it needs matching tx valve condensor and evaporator to work properly. He should be able to tell you if it will work or not

Unit will heat only will not cool and how to repair

we have a split type gree aircon, with one (1) horsepower. it was just newly installed, around 6 months ago. we are just surprised that one when my wife turned it on, thru the use of its remote control, the indicator box on the aircon reads or flashes "F2". I detached the batteries of the remote control for severa hours and I also detached the power cord from the wall socket, but it was to no avail. it did not work. with "F2" on the indicator box, the aircon won't give cool air, it is just working like an ordinary fan. please help us.

I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer. A few weeks ago when I turned on the air I could hear like a rattling in the fan. Now the air will run for a little while then slowly weeken until it just stops. What could...

It could be your aircon blower that's busted. I had the same issue with a 97 Lancer. It was the motor of the blower that was defective so I had it replaced. Never heard the rattling noise and the A/C works perfectly fine after the replacement.

HTH and good luck!

No Mitsubishi Air Con Manual

ok heres the problem. The a/c filter is clogged or the evaporator coil is clogged. These systems have a metering device that measures the amount of air flow over the coil. If this air flow is obstructed the filter light will flash. If the filter in the unit is clean then the coil has some type of obstruction. This will mean having to clean the coil before the light will go off. An a/c tech should be able to clean this for you and it not be a huge cost. They have the chemicals to get the job done fast and clean.

Change your filter first.

Good Luck hope this helped you some

Ice forming on front coil of aircon blower

the front coil or evaporator is not absorbing heat from the conditioned space or the condensing coil or back one is not rejecting heat. usually this is due to dirty coils or clogged filters

My aircon is freezing up its only 6 years old. the furnace is old old not sure how old though. I noticed that the drain hose from the furnace was plugged can that cause freeze up?

The condensate drain must be clear, otherwise there will be a lot of moisture in the coil area. If there is not enough air flow the coil can freeze -check filters are claen and fan is working properly.

Use the spell check and please restate your issue. Have you checked your air filter? Has the unit been serviced recently?
