Goto Start-> Settings-> Controlpanel-> Key board settings
In the keyboard properties, drag the repeat delay slider towards long. Now test the keyboard and try again until the problem in fixed.

Sounds like the keyboard might be bad. Run your fingers thru the keys in a sweepting motion and see if that stops the keyboard from continously typing keys on the screen. If that doesn't do it then its time for a replacement keyboard.

Go under CONTROL PANEL then KEYBOARD and adjust the sensitivity. It is probably set too high, thus repeating keystrokes.
