Question about Radio Communications
Do I need to unwrap the batteries first?
If your two-way radio batteries seem to be wrapped in a cellophane you may not need to unwrap them. Many rechargeable batteries are simply a group of cells held together by cellophane/plastic wrapping. If it appears the battery contacts are exposed and will touch the appropriate place in the radio, do not unwrap. If still questioning this, please post back with your radio model and possibly the battery part number. Someone knowledgeable will likely respond.
