Instructions1 Unplug the electrical cord of the washing machine from the electrical outlet before attempting to repair the water pump. 2 Turn the water supply off at the shut-off valves behind the washing machine by hand. 3 Press in on the end caps of the washer while pulling forward to remove the caps from the control console and locate the screws in the front of the console on each end. 4 Unfasten the screws on the control console with a screwdriver and flip the console back so that it rests on the rear hinges. 5 Unplug the lid switch connector from the top of the dryer near the back, lifting the plug off the metal prongs by hand. Use a screwdriver to pry up the metal clips that are holding the top on the dryer. 6 Lift the top lid off the washer base, set the top out of the way, and locate the water pump at the bottom of the cabinet on the motor shaft. 7 Slide the metal clips off the top of the water pump with a screwdriver and remove the pump from the motor shaft. 8 Place a plastic container underneath the water pump to catch any water from the pump and detach the hoses, unfastening the clamps with a screwdriver. 9 Remove the hoses from the pump, allowing the excess water to drain into the plastic container, and remove the pump from the washing machine. 10 Attach the hoses to the new water pump, securing the clamps with a screwdriver. Place the new pump on the motor shaft, sliding the metal clips back over the pump. 11 Take the plastic container out of the washer cabinet, disposing of the water. Place the top lid of the washer back over the cabinet, securing it with the metal clips on the top. 12 Plug the lid switch connector back into the top of the washer near the back, attaching the connector by hand. Flip the control console back down over the washer, securing the console with screws on the ends. 13 Fasten the end caps back over the control console by hand and turn the water supply back on at the shut-off valves. 14 Plug the electrical cord of the washer into the electrical outlet. Inside the main tank is another container for clean water.
To fill it, lay machine all the way down. Lift handle and remove container. Take to sink, turn handle, and remove lid. Fill with hot, clean water. Replace and lock the lid. Place container back into tank and put handle down.
You need to be careful with sealed burner ranges. If you try to lift the range top you can damage the alluminum gas pipes for the burners under the range top. Check to see if the burner heads lift off. If the burner heads are held on by screws make sure you remove those first. With the heads removed look down into the cooktop thru the hole where the burner sits. Make sure the orfice is not attached to the lid. If they are you may see a screw you can remove. Look for any other screws behind the oven door that may be attached to the lid. Apply light pressure when trying to lift the lid. If you feel any major resistence DO NOT FORCE IT UP. Sears.com also has parts schematics for every range they make and that will visually help with the dis-assembly because you can see how the parts go together. Also MAKE SURE YOU UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE AND TURN OFF THE GAS VALVE BEFORE WORKING ON IT!!!
I have a Lexmark X1270 and this is probably the same as yours.Lift the top (not scanner lid!) and with power on the cartridge containers will locate centrally for you to access, once located these coloured containers have a hinged lid, pull the lid upward to remove cartridges contained within.Hope this helps.
I have no idea about how to install the actual device but I have read and tried mounting equipment out of doors and have these suggestions. I would get a rubberized food storage container that the item will fit into and a lid would close on it without problems. No gaps in the lid. I would cut only the holes I need for the connections to the item, put the item in the food storage container and take silicone caulk to seal around the holes used for the wires to connect to the item. If you had to cut a bigger hole for a large connector on a cable, use household window screen to fill in the hole around the cable and then use the silicone to coat and attach the screen to the food storage container
