SOURCE: pioneer vsx-d510 coaxial dvd connection problem

Hello,
I recommend you use an optical connection. Your VSX-D510 has only one optical input, but I believe it is assignable. Use a good optical cable and connect directly to your DVR. Follow the manual to assign the input and it should work.
Good luck

SOURCE: pioneer receiver vsx-d510 sub not working

Rear Surrounds are not supported on this unit, they would be the 6th and 7th channels in a 7.1 rig. I think you mean Surrounds (channels 4 and 5 in a 5.1 rig).

Lets ponder: How is there any relationship between Surrounds and your separately-amplified Subwoofer? I don't see it, unless you inadvertently chose OFF for the Sub definition when you were in the Speaker selection menus adding the Surrounds. Look again.

I had the same problem. Dont know why the receiver set it up this way but grab your remote, go down to the lower right and select ch setup. Keep on pressing it till your receiver says SW. Then press lev+ on your remote to change the db on your powered sub.

Disconnect all the speakers, and then check. Connect the speakers, one by one, and find which one makes it overload. That speaker is faulty. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

How do I get the powered subwoofer to work with a pioneer VSX-D510

You plug a subwoofer RCA cable into the Subwoofer Preout from the back of the VSX-D510 and to the input on the back of the subwoofer. If there is a red / white connection don't sweat it, just use the red. Should work fine.

How do i connect a sub wooferto my reciever

I own 2 of these Pioneer VSX-D903S units.

The only way to hook a powered subwoofer up to a VSX-D903S is if your subwoofer is equipped with amplified/speaker level terminals on the back, in addition to the line-level input. If you only have a line-level input, do not attempt to hook it up to this receiver.

If you're lucky, and have speaker-level inputs on your powered subwoofer, you would use the amplified terminals (connect to B-channel on the receiver). DO NOT connect anything to the line-level connection.

Alternatively, you could build two unpowered subwoofers, then set the receiver's Impedance switch to LOW, then connect one enclosure to each of the "B-channel" outputs. Connect your regular left and right speakers to their corresponding "A-channel" outputs. [Impedance range: 4 Ohm minimum, 16 Ohm Maximum]

How to hook it up with sub dvd

Not sure what a "sub dvd' is but here's the manual. The Subwoofer Pre Out would provide a Line Level feed for a powered subwoofer, once it is configured to do so.

How to connect my 12'' 2 coils subwoofer?

It really depends on your amp most amps you want to keep a 4 ohm load . If you have a high end amp like Rockford or JBL they are 2 ohm stable a 2 ohm load means the speaker will work harder but my not ne safe for your amp . This is how you make a 2 ohm load you have 4 imputs 2 + and 2 - run 2 sets of speaker wire just like you have 2 speakers then take the free end the 1s going to the amp twist them together + to + - to - you can only do this if your amp is bridgeable and is 2 ohm stable look on your amp out puts most amps go to the left + and right - hope this helps
