My bjc 1000 canon printer has a probem with the paper feed ? as the printer engaged to feed the paper the paper move to the right hand side and then gets screwed up .thanks

This is very simple. Pull out the screwed up paper back out very slowly. Look at its leading edge for an indent. Lay the paper back on the feeder. Now the indent will line up with the foreign object that has fallen into the printer. It may be a paper clip, staple or pin from a cork board behind the printer on the wall. Unfold a large paperclip and use this as a tool to retrieve the object. Always works.

What is foreign object inside printer?

If that is an error message you are getting then it is telling you something has fallen into the printer that doesn't belong somewhere in the feed path.

Paper pulls down, but puckers on one side and will not pull through to print?

There could be something blocking the paper path. Unload the sheets of paper from the feeder. Grab a flashlight and look into the feeder for any foreign objects that might have accidentally fallen into it.
Also, try to check the cartridge area for any obstructions. Open the printer cover and make sure the paper path and the cartridge carrier path are clear from debris or foreign objects.

Entire sheet of paper disappeared inside printer. Can't see paper at insert slot or exit. Printer has stopped. How do I open printer to retrieve paper?

Usually there is a back paper trap door you can access, there is sometimes a knob you have to turn to open it. Also there may be something that is causing the paper to hang up inside a printer, I suggest you turn the printer upside down and see if any foreign object falls out before reinserting paper again, usually a paper clip will be found or if you have children then who know what will fall out, they like to things inside printers. Especially coins..

When i go to print the printer pulls the paper in on one side only then gets stuck

Thoroughly check that there is not some foreign object that has fallen into the sheet feeder/ paper path. We commonly find pens, screws, candy and toys that have inadvertantly fallen in causing the symptoms you are describing.

Can't open Epson DX5000 to remove object stuck inside

sounds a little draconian, but sometimes if you invert th peinter and give it a tap, the foreign object may fall out. Just don't leave it upside down too long!

Paper skewing

There should be an access door on the back of the printer. If you open this you can check the rollers to see if they are damaged or have debris on them.

Paper wont go through printer

You have a very small jam, and possibly need to reset your printer margins also. Take out all visible paper in tray. Open unit, get a torch and some tweezers. Thoroughly check all inside in rollers, near carriage for printer cartridges, left and right, and down the back where paper goes. I am wiling to bet you find a tiny scap or foreign object( i call them ujo's, unidentified jamming objects) my little boy jammed mine with a scrap off his toy typewriter!!! It was so small you clould barely see it. Tip: once fixed, regularly open unit and tidy rollers and paper area with a long thin soft bristled brush. Keep printer covered after it cools and breaths betwen usages. I do!!!
