I have a sony fd kv-32fq70e trinitron wide the standby led is blinking two times and the tv is not turning on please can you solve my problem?

    i have the same prob... kv-32fq70e... 2 blink, but when i press the stanby button on the remote the led blinks 3 times... i dont know where to start looking...

I am repairing a sony TV KV-32FQ70E. The led blinks 5 times, stops and blinks again. Please tel me what means.

  • Five blinks - AKB circuit (automatic kine bias), the timer/standby indicator blinks for about 30 seconds then goes to the self-diagnosis function. Something is wrong with the video. Check video out, Q705, 732, 761 and other components on the C board, also check Q218, 219, 220 on the A board. In addition, unit could be in IK blanking, try turning up screen slightly, (G2 voltage).

Check the tube emmision, it may be too low to track, causing that error.

Our Sony, wide screen, trinitron model number kv-h34hs420 tuns on then off and the stand by/timer ( red) light blinks 6 times
you have to check you timinig on/off setting.

Seven Blinks: High voltage shutdown. The high voltage has exceeded 33k and the unit goes immediately into shutdown. Check power supply and horizontal circuits.
