Question about Datel Action Replay for Nintendo DS

1 Answer

My Action Replay was fine, till a Cheat it destroyed it.

My Action Replay was fine, I had only added some cheats to two games, then one day I added a cheat as normal, tried it but it didn't work so I went to take it off but as it was ''saving changes'' Red and blue lines apeared on the bottem screen so I turned it off. After I turned it on again all the games I had were gone. I tried adding the default codes from the PC but it sain there wasn't enough space even for one game, I tried adding one on manualy but the lines apeared again so I had to turn it off. What shall I do, I don't want to buy a new one though, please help?

I soon found, after a lot of searching that the makers of the action replay, Code Junkies have a troubleshooting part of their web site, I found this really helpful as it had descriped on one of their device problem list, all the problems I had seen on the AR they have reset option to fix your AR if problems presist you can contact them. I would highly recomend this for anyone with these problems
http://us.codejunkies.com/support/ is the site just copy and paste on the address bar, it will have a list of problems with a anwser to fix it, however you must have a product that is from codejunkies overwise if it is from another make then their help won't work. If you are unsure wether your AR or anyother Cheating device is from code junkies go on the web site and check out their products if yours isn't on there, there is a chance it isn't from code junkies.

Hope this helps, Xamous

Cheat devices do not have 100% game compatibility. It is entirely possible that all your other games could work fine and this one wont. In order to have the best chance of making your new game compatible download the latest firmware/software for your action replay.

Pokemon black/white support was added in the latest firmware release for the action replay DSI. follow these instructions to update your firmware:

MY ACTION REPLAY CODEFILE IS CORRUPT?

Copy all the cheat files you want to keep into your code list, But do not copy your heart gold. Then after doing so, click the folder holding all cheats in the memory card slot, and press delete. Then all cheat lists should be gone. Then transfer all the copied cheats back over to the memory card. Then go to your subscriptions and get your pokemon heart gold back into the memory card by copy and pasting. The you should go to www.neoseeker.com/Games/...heart_gold/action_replay.html For extra cheats, other places aren't as good. home this helps.

Trouble adding a new game

Do you even have any cheat put in for that game? If not then sometimes there are bade codes that cause the game to freeze up. Try to find the bad code by doing just one at a time till you find the problem.

Action replay for NDS and Pokemon Diamond

You have a bad cheat or a wrong cheat enabled. That is why it's not working. Just disable that cheat and it should work fine.

All i know is my son was adding cheat codes for pokemon diamond

Remove all the action-replay enabled cheats and try again. If this doesn't solve the problem, the game has been corrupted, although this is highly unlikely because action replay should not be able to do this. If your son still wants to use cheats, have him use one cheat at a time and gradually add more to find out where the limit is where the game breaks.

I want cheats for Ridge racers5

I'm not sure if you're asking for cheat codes for use with Ridge Racer DS for the Nintendo DS, or Ridge Racer V for the Playstation 2 - Unfortunately, neither game has actual cheats built into them. You can, however, use a hex editor tool (also referred to as a Trainer, Gameshark, or Action Replay), which would allow you to cheat.
