When I go to burn a CD the drive doesn't work. The drive works with playing CD/DVDs etc.. but when I go to burn a disc it tries to work, but it doesn't quite get there, What do I do? Frustrated!

try to see if there is any updated drivers you can install for your cd/dvd burner. and make sure it is a cd/dvd burner. To find drivers for your laptop you can usually go to hp.com and download them there.

I think you have to run this Microsoft tool

Cant burn cd - error 4450

So first off, you have a problem with your registry. This is a problem seeing as you are not an administrator and the only way to fix the registry is to be an admin. So if and/or when you are and administrator simply download the RegCure registry repair tool. also get a SpyWare scan as well and update all your system drivers. That should do the trick or just any old program off the internet that cleans out your registry really. If you want to edit the registry manually just hit start>run and type in regedit and mess with it there. unless you know what you're doing i wouldn't recommend messing with the registry though.
