SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Don't have a manual need to set announce message

Turn on auto answer mode by pressing ans on/off button on base. Message indicator should light. Now press and hold the announce button until you hear an audible beep. After the beep start recording your message. Release the button after you have finished dictating your message. To review your message press and release the announce button.
Also if you need it the manual for your phone can be downloaded from http://www.retrevo.com/Samples/GE-manuals.html
Goto Telephone > More manuals for ge telephone
You will find it in the list there.

Cordless Phone

You did record a message on the answerer, didn't you? Mine displayed that until I recorded the outgoing message for the answerer. You do not need any service from your phone provider. The answerer in the base unit simply records the caller's message when you don't answer after a set number of rings. The manual tells you how to name the handset, which is a nice feature if you don't wish to use "unit 1, unit 2, etc".
