OCER i was riding along in the car, playing a cd and all of a sudden it just shut down and started blinking OCER. I turned it off and turned it back on and it still blinks the same thing. It has been like that for 3 days now. does anyone know what this means and how to fix it? I greatly appreciate any advice.

I unplugged the cd player to move it to another car and it just said OCER.. It doesn't do anything else.. I tried pushing that button on the left bottom corner it worked for a second then started showing OCER again......

I had the same problem, took the car to the dealer in El Salvador, Excel, and the laesy guys there wanted more money to repair my cd player. The suggested solution works perfect. Me molesta que el Taller Excel no ponga la mas minima atencion a los problemas de sus clientes y se hacen los ignorantes para dar soluciones, No asi para cobrarle a uno. Me molesto el trato de Excel. Ok, there is a default button right next to the SRC button on the face of the radio. take a pen or small srew driver and point the little button (it looks like a hole) hold it for about 10 secs and it should reset. when ocer flashes on the screen, this means that one of your speakers is either trying to go bad or is bad. keep ur volume low if u have factory speakers

Your speaker wire have a shortage in it. You can also take out your speaker fuse in put it back in somethimes that will help or just replace your speaker wire and make sure the wire is not coming loose from your battery.

I'm not sure what the error means, or how to fix it for good - but using a paper clip or pen tip to press the tiny reset button on the front of the deck - will make the error go away so you can use it again.

My system just stop working and its only blinking ocer

OCER indicates that the unitis in protect mode. First press the reset button (tiny pinhole button). If the unit comes back on saying OCER then most likely there is a short or a grounding problem with the speakers or speaker wiring. Disconnect all speakers and press reset again. If OCER still shows up the unit needs service. If not, connect each speaker once at a time until the unit comes back in OCER to narrow down the location of the unwanted DC signal.
