Question about Vizio L37 Television
My grandmother is recuperation in a nursing home. Two people share a room. They each have a tv and remote. When one changes the channel on their tv, it changes it on both tv's some of the time. Can they be programmed to a unique remote? I'm not sure exactly which Vizio model they have.
Most of the Vizio remote will work with all their TVs. the best way is to separate the TVs as far as possible.

SOURCE: Vizio Volume Control
I am sure you did this but recheck your audio menu on all your inputs. I have found that cables can go bad so make sure they are in good shape. Are you haveing the problems with all your inputs dvd, cable (direct cable or a cable box) whatever? It is hard to affect the audio by just moving the set. I am hoping that you changed something or the cables went bad that would be the easy solution.

SOURCE: HDTV CHANNEL NUMBERS
Channel numbers depend on the station, not your TV. Check the channel listings in your local paper for channel assignments.
You can also go to www.antennaweb.org and click on the "choose an antenna" button. This brings up a page that asks for your address. It wants this information to pinpoint your location, but all you need to give is your zip code. Continue through the next couple of screens and you will get a list of all the stations in your area and their distances. The channel number information is there as well.
Please take a moment to rate this solution a fixya, and thanks for asking here!

I work as a contract technician for Vizio, and I can tell you from experience that replacing motherboard is one of the only solutions to this problem. The other solution if under warranty is to replace it. If you experience red, blue, or green pixels where dark shades (like nose, eyes, clothes, etc), call Vizio and accept nothing less than a full replacement! I have had situations where I replaced motherboard and within 2-3 hours the pixels return. Hope this helps.
