Question about Viper Security and Remote Start System (basic install included)
I can not start car, and battery is fine. My alarm is not on, but the red light inside the car is flashing. I attempt to start the car, but after I do
the lights start flashing as if it sets off the alarm, without the sound.
I use the remote to turn the alarm on or off and the flashing lights stop,
but the red light still flashes. (Which should indicate the alarm is on)
Problem is the alarm is not on, and the doors are not locked.
Any idea how to fix this?

there is a reset button stuffed under the dash ( drivers side ) , it has two wires from it to the alarm box ( not the switch )

On the remote start part, it might be as simple as relearning the tach. To do this, crank the car with the key, press and hold the valet switch until the led lights and stays solid now release.Try the remote start. Need to know what kind of car to comment on doorlocks.

i have this alarm also.... for starters your batteries are dead, so get those when you get a chance. (best buy or radio shack) for now you can manually over ride your alarm... what you when need to do is get into your car by using the key, and the alarm is going to go off
1. locate your antenna, which is going to have your blue LED and a square push button. usually at the top of your windshield
2. while the alarm is going off, you will need to put the key in the ignition and turn to the on position, ofcourse it isn't going to crank.
3. within 5 sec of turning the key on, you will need to push the valet button( button on the antenna next to the blue LED) 1 time, release, then push it a 2nd time but hold it down until the alarm shuts off, this will allow you to start the car with the key. if it doesn't work the first time, turn the key off and try it again
the default is 1 press, the pushing it one more time and holding, but it can be programmed by whoever installed to be 1-5. hints, pressing it 2X the holding on the 3, or 3X then holding on the 4 ect
