Yes. on the start screen there should be a "forgot password" option. Sometimes it will only show if you have a few errors, or lock your tablet. You then press it and follow the instructions to unlock it!

vol+/- homebutton last power key
realease home key and - vol when boot
in recovery mode select "FACTORY RESET" enter

you usally need to charge new out of box tablets for 24hrs before activating them. Not sure why they dont run / charge faster off USB or AC power. If it still wont let u in on back is a pin hole for resetting back to factory. BUT first remove any SD or USB apters,,
If u use AMAZON want to talk to them or the outlet who sold it
