Http://www.kolumbus.fi/richard.bevan/saab/saab93/saab_images/head_unit_pin_out.gif fo C-Bus changers. I'm not sure if the one you mention is a C-bus or Ce-Net. But that info above is from a Saab website and all the Saabs in that generation used Clarion changers.

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

no, it depends on whether it has a round or square jack. if the deck and changer both take the same din cable (square or round) they will work together.

My clarion dc 628 cd 6 disc changer will not switch on

Well, I have just had the same problem with the same model.
I had a look inside and it turned out in my case that the din socket that connects the multichanger to the head unit had one pin that had failed, (the power 12V). I had to go through every pin, one by one and found that the 12V was present on the lead coming from the head unit, but was not making its way to the board. It had failed within the socket surprisingly.
So I wired in a new, fused 12V feed to the circuit board, and hey presto, everything came back to life!
I thought I would just add this in case anyone ever searches for this problem in the future.
