Same problem. Bulb blew and everything in the hood stopped working. Tested a couple of leads and there is still power there but have not yet measured voltage

Have same problem. With both the fan & the lights operating while cooking, everything shuts off completely and cannot turn ANYTHING back on. Then, at some point, the bloody thing will start working again but not on it's own. We'll press the light or fan button and everything will be working fine. This could be hours later, well after the time when the thing was NEEDED to work. My guess is there is a bad IC or something similar in the control unit. I am assuming the is some type of PCB board. I will contact Broan on Monday (closed weekends) and speak with tech support. I see other postings on internet with same problem. It looks nice but that's about it...bloody thing doesn't work when you need it to.

Binned it when I found out the controller part had blown and was £80 to replace. Bought a different model cheaper than the part. Useless piece of kit. Glad its gone.

A bulb blew in my tecnik cooker hood and neither the lights of the fan will work? is there a fuse somewhere that I need to change?

In case you are still looking for an answer. The same happened to me.
I found a 3-amp fuse which I changed, and now it's ok.
I removed the chimney casing and located the electrical connection into the wall. You'll find a fuse unit within the switch which swings out.

Hope this helps.

Cooker Hood problem

check the printed circuit board behind the switches - maybe when bulb blew it took out some of the track. usually repairable by soldering in a link over the damaged track. have you checked the fuse as well?

Indesit cooker hood.

some have fuses, some dont. i know that if you dont have the vent hood hooked up correct the heat can melt the wires on the inside. so make sure the vent is hooked up right.

Cooker hood not working

Check power from the wall.

Check power in the wiring coming into the hood.

Check to see wiring is not broken.

Rangemaster cooker hood. model no.LEIHDC120SC/

hood should be connected to a fused spur outlet which you havent found. try removing the chimney and you may find it there. chimney only held by 2 screws at top usually.the fuse in the outlet sometimes goes when bulbs blow
