I switched on light on cooker hood and then nothing would work. Both bulbs fused so changed bulbs but nothing is working now. Help!

-   whirlpool hood H00 B 01 S from ikea lights go off after a few minutes fan still working getting replacment from ikea under warranty. Item brand new when fault found when cooled down light would operate but now lights dont work at all. Fuse ok as fan still works.-   stevedoyle1

-   Binned it when I found out the controller part had blown and was £80 to replace. Bought a different model cheaper than the part. Useless piece of kit. Glad its gone.-   Guest

-   same problem, both lights not working. replaced bulbs, not the problem. Bulbs are not bown. found fuse, not blown either. cannot find schematic for actual wiring, only "instruction" booklet"........-   la jolla

-   Have same problem. With both the fan & the lights operating while cooking, everything shuts off completely and cannot turn ANYTHING back on. Then, at some point, the bloody thing will start working again but not on it's own. We'll press the light or fan button and everything will be working fine. This could be hours later, well after the time when the thing was NEEDED to work. My guess is there is a bad IC or something similar in the control unit. I am assuming the is some type of PCB board. I will contact Broan on Monday (closed weekends) and speak with tech support. I see other postings on internet with same problem. It looks nice but that's about it...bloody thing doesn't work when you need it to.-   Guest

-   Same problem. Bulb blew and everything in the hood stopped working. Tested a couple of leads and there is still power there but have not yet measured voltage-   oopsbang

whilst using cookerhood on no 3 - full power and lights on, the cooker hood just turned off as though a fuse had blown / no fan or lights working!!
Changed 2 fuses but still not working1
