I do not have cable service, do I need a converter box for my sharp TV/VCR 13VT N100 to work after the June 12th digital broadcast conversion.

- Thanks stoneheaded I thought so, but it's a bit confusing because the instructions to use a digital converter is to connect it to rabbit ears antennae, but I don't use an antennae. My tv is connected to the cable wire in a cable-ready apartment, even though I don't get cable just the local channels. So that would mean I have to buy both a converter box and a tv antennae right?

I was given this tv with the antenna pole loose. I'm able to use a tape and watch regular tv with the aid of an External VCR via the input jacks in front of the TV. All I did was take the casing off and the jack was back tight when I put the case back on. I attach a Antenna to it and only get a Blue Screen. How do I get the stations back on it?

I currently have cable and get only 3 channels. I don't have a remote. There is a red light I on that is on "the power wake up timer". Is there any way I can get more channels without a remote? Please help me! Channeless is Monterey!
